Search Engines Growth Provides an Even Greater SEO Outlook
When formulating an SEO strategy it’s essential to know what search engines are being frequented the most by web users. Nielsen Online surveyed what search engines yielded the most searches. Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft's Live Search came in at the top three in US queries.Just two months ago Nielsen Online company research showed that Google searches increased by roughly 20%, Yahoo searches increased by almost 2% and Microsoft Live Search queries also increased by 7%.Within U.S. alone Americans increased their online search uses by 9.4% compared to last year. It’s numbers like these that forces SEO Industry to take note. So when liking at the whole picture you have Google holding in at almost 60% of the market share while Yahoo has 18.1 % and Microsoft live Search has 11.8 per cent. In the top ten there were other search engines to take note of such as AOL, Ask.com, My Web, Comcast and AT&T Worldnet.
